CALLIGRAPHIC BIOGRAPHY

Hi my name is Alice and I have been practicing calligraphy and have been a member since 2018. My interest in calligraphy started with my love of fountain pens and a conversation that may have had the word ‘calligraphy’ in it. From there my calligraphic journey started with the Sydney Community College, where I was introduced to the Australian Society of Calligraphers. I have been a part of the committee for over two years.

I do not have a specific script I lean on, but I do enjoy the intricate details of Celtic knotwork. Of all the scripts I have practiced, French Batarde was the quickest and easiest to write. It is the script you will see on a little progress each day adds up to BIG results.
