2026 CALLICLASS DATES.
All Calliclasses to be held at Primrose Park unless otherwise stated.
Saturday 5th September No Calliclass on this date.
Saturday 3rd October. 1pm to 4pm. Card making with Valerie. This Calliclass has now been postponed to 2027.
Saturday 17th October. 2pm to 4pm. Calligrams.
Saturday 5th December. 1pm to 4pm. Xmas Baubles with Jackie.

Saturday, 3rd October 2026 CANCELLED
This workshop has now been postponed to 2027.
We’ll advise the next scheduled dates as soon as possible.
In this class a basic pattern will be used to create three different raised flower type designs that can be placed onto stock cards or self-made cards.
If time permits we can also look at other designs such as laced cards and the beautiful Iris cards.
Requirements
- 4-6 Stock cards standard size approximately 15cm x 11cm.
OR
- Light card any colour to suit the flower papers that can be cut to the standard stock card size of 15cm x 11cm (doubled).
- NB you will need to decide which edge will be the fold edge.
- Three A4 pieces of light paper, coloured, plain or printed will cut 8 pattern shapes with some paper left over. Japanese paper and wrapping papers work well.
- Blue UH glue or any quick drying glue.
- Ruler and pencil
- Craft knife and cutting board plus scissors.
- Bone folder if you have one
- Pearls or beads for centres are optional.

Calligrams
Calligrams with Valerie
Saturday 17th October. 2pm to 4pm.
CALLIGRAMS are fun things to do and any fairly simple shape can be filled with colourful words. They make great birthday cards or stand-alone pieces that from a distance look like paintings.
The poppy calligram is a design filled with words. The Christmas pudding is a recipe filling the design.
Materials List
- Practise pad.
- Pencil and eraser.
- Tracing paper optional.
- Chisel pens and inks or paints.
- Palette, mixing brush and water jars.
- A4 piece of Watercolour paper.
- Small canvas optional to use rather than paper.
- Simple design of your choice.
Valerie will bring some designs to the workshop for you to use.
